The Peckham Graphic Novel Book Group make a return visit to Bryan Talbot’s ‘Grandville’, where France won the Napoleonic Wars and anthropomorphism is the name of the game as Detective Inspector Archie LeBrock (badger) and faithful chum Roderick Ratzi (rat) investigate the baffling murder of artist Gustave Corbeau (corpse) while Baron Aristotle Krapaud (toad) and his assorted industrialist chums plot a violent overthrow of the government with their automaton soldiers. It’s ‘Les Miserables’ meets Conan Doyle in the worst, or best, furry party ever! Read the book and then join us to chat about it!
